Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Elementary and Secondary Education Foundation (ESEF) on Friday took major steps to modernize non-formal education in the province at its 37th Board of Directors meeting, chaired by Provincial Minister for Education Arshad Ayub Khan.
The board approved the launch of ESEF’s AI Data Center, aimed at streamlining educational administration through modern technology.
In addition, the Virtual School Program will be expanded to provide digital learning opportunities to students in remote and underserved areas.
The meeting also endorsed inclusive education initiatives, ensuring children of all abilities have access to quality education.
Under the ‘H1, Teach One’ program, peer teaching and community participation will be promoted to strengthen learning outcomes at the grassroots level.
Addressing the board, Minister Arshad Ayub Khan said, ‘These reforms will transform non-formal education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, making it more inclusive, technology-driven, and accountable. The government is fully committed to supporting ESEF in overcoming all operational challenges.’
The board reaffirmed its commitment to improving governance, digital integration, and equitable access to education across the province.
