Gujrat: District Police Officer(DPO) Gujrat Rana Umar Farooq on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Doctors Hospital Gujrat to provide medical facilities to police officers,personnel and families of police martyrs.
According to a spokesperson,under the agreement,beneficiaries will receive 50% discounts on emergency services,20% on OPD,35% on indoor and admission charges,30% on laboratory tests and 30% on radiology services including MRI,CT scan,X-ray, and ultrasound.
Additional benefits include a 10% discount at the hospital’s medical store,dialysis on kit charges only and free ambulance service.
The MoU signing ceremony was held at the DPO Complex Gujrat,with Doctors Hospital represented by Dr. Muhammad Maqsood Zahid.
DPO Rana Umar Farooq thanked the hospital management for extending special healthcare facilities to police personnel and families of martyrs.
