Karachi: The Head of International University of Chabahar of Iran, Dr Abdul Ghafoor Badpa, visited the University of Karachi and met the KU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Khalid Mahmood Iraqi, at the VC Office on Friday.
The visit aims to strengthen academic collaboration between both institutions, explore venues of mutual cooperation in higher education and research, and discuss potential partnerships in areas of shared academic interest.
During the meeting, the Head of International University of Chabahar, Dr Abdul Ghafoor Badpa, expressed that he is keen to engage in an institutional dialogue with the esteemed KU faculty and students and a faculty exchange program between the universities.
The KU VC Professor Dr Khalid Iraqi assured Dr Badpa that the KU would like to support the Iranian university.
He shared that the University of Karachi would engage the faculty of the International University of Chabahar in different research and other projects.
The associate professor in the department of natural and basic sciences, University of Turbat, Balochistan, Dr Haneef Ur Rehman, and others were also present on this occasion.
