Bahawalpur:A man sustained gunshot wounds in firing opened by his own brother in Tiba Badar Sher area of the city. According to rescue officials, family members reported that Umar Shafiq, son of Shafiq, aged about 20, was allegedly shot in the chest by his younger brother during a domestic dispute. Rescue 1122 personnel reached the scene promptly, provided first aid to the injured man, and shifted him by ambulance to Bahawal Victoria Hospital (BVH) for further medical examination and treatment. Rescue officials said the injured man was conscious and in stable condition at the time of his transfer. The incident was reported to the relevant police who have started investigation into the incidernt. Further probe was in process.
