Hyderabad:DIGP Faisal Bashir Memon, chaired a meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) at office of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP), Shaheed Benazirabad Range.
Meeting focused on strengthening the organizational structure of Shaheed Benazirabad Police Range and granting promotions to police personnel on merit. SSPs of all three districts of the range, along with Head Clerk and Sheet Clerk, attended the meeting.
The committee reviewed service records, performance and other relevant documents of the personnel. After detailed scrutiny of departmental records and completion of all legal and professional requirements, the committee approved the promotion of 53 police personnel from the rank of Head Constable to Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI), while 36 personnel were promoted from ASI to Sub-Inspector (SI).
On the occasion, DIGP Shaheed Benazirabad Range Faisal Bashir Memon congratulated all promoted personnel and reiterated that every police official would be given their due right on the basis of merit, transparency and performance.
He directed promoted officers and personnel to discharge their new responsibilities with greater dedication, enthusiasm and honesty and ensure protection of the lives and property of public.
