Islamabad: Coordinator to prime Minister Rana Ehsan Afzal Sunday said that political parties should accept defeat in elections and move forward without spreading unnecessary propaganda, saying that we should focus on serving the people.
Speaking to a private media news channel, he said it was a moral dilemma for someone to benefit from the system, form governments in two provinces and hold constitutional positions, while at the same time objecting to the same system and the basis on which they were elected.
Responding to a question, he said highlighting good work being done in any province was a healthy form of competition. If another province was performing well, he said, it should also bring its achievements before the public.
He further said that no one could agitate or pressure the Election Commission in any case.
