LAHORE:Caretaker Punjab Minister for Zakat and Ushr Barrister Azfar Ali Nasir on Thursday inaugurated 3-day exhibition on books related to the Seerat-e-Tayyaba (PBUH), Islamic studies and Pakistan studies, at Alhamra Art Gallery.
According to a handout issued here, the minister said that this exhibition was organized in connection with ceremonies related to Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
He said that holding exhibition of such meaningful books once a year was not enough.
Azfar Ali said that it was need of the hour to ensure availability of Islamic literature for readers.
He said it was a matter of pride for Punjab Auqaf department for holding three days exhibition on books related to the glorious and sacred life of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
