Mirpurkhas Police crack Jhudo robbery case, arrest four suspects and recover looted cash


Mirpurkhas: Mirpurkhas Police have solved a major robbery case in Jhudo, arresting four suspects and recovering the stolen cash, the motorcycle allegedly used in the crime and a weapon, officials said on Tuesday.



Addressing a press conference, DSP Jhudo Abdul Ghafoor Khaskheli, CIA In-charge Inspector Zeeshan Lashari, SHO Jhudo Abid Zardari, SHO Digri Sanjay Kumar and Taluqa SHO Mujeeb Narijo said armed suspects had looted Rs2 million from a confectionery shop on Saman Sarkar Road, Jhudo, on the night of July 19, 2026, before escaping on motorcycles.



Following directions from DIG Mirpurkhas Range Captain (retd) Faisal Abdullah Chachar and SSP Mirpurkhas Syed Fida Hussain Shah, a special investigation team was constituted to trace the culprits. The team used modern investigation techniques, CCTV footage and intelligence-based information to make progress in the case.



Police said the arrested suspects were identified as Rashid, son of Noorang Banglani, a resident of Samaro; Shahid, son of Muhammad Akram Bhatti, of SRTC Colony Mirpurkhas; Somro, son of Nabi Bakhsh, of Baloch Colony Jhudo; and Qasim Chandio, son of Nabi Bakhsh. Police recovered the looted cash, a Honda CG-125 motorcycle allegedly used in the robbery and a pistol from their possession.



Officials said further investigation was underway to uncover other aspects of the case. SSP Mirpurkhas Syed Fida Hussain Shah said strict action against criminal elements would continue and all available resources were being utilised to protect the lives and property of citizens.
