Larkana: An encounter took place between police and criminals within the limits of Behram Police Station, Qambar-Shahdadkot district on Wednesday, on the Behram-to-Bhatti Road near Dukhan Mor. The notorious dacoit Imran Chandio was arrested in an injured condition.
From the possession of the arrested dacoit, one pistol along with a magazine was recovered. The dacoit has been identified as Imran, son of Ali Akbar Chandio, resident of village Rahoja Athiya, Tehsil Qambar, District Qambar-Shahdadkot.
The arrested injured dacoit is an active criminal involved in numerous robberies and other crimes in Qambar-Shahdadkot district. Cases of highway robbery, dacoity, police encounters, and other serious offenses are registered against him.
Alongside further investigation, the complete criminal record of the accused is also being checked. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Qambar-Shahdadkot, Hassan Sardar Ahmed Khan Niazi, has announced cash rewards and commendation certificates for SHO Behram, Inspector Abdul Sattar Magsi, and the police party.
