Gujrat: The 21st batch of the six-week Punjab Police Youth Internship Programme concluded in Gujrat, with certificates and badges distributed among students. According to an official source, a ceremony was held at the DPO Complex Gujrat, where SP Investigation Hafiz Imtiaz Ahmed, Inspector Farzana Kausar, Sub-Inspector Abdul Wahab Gilani and other police officers attended.
During the internship, students were briefed about the functioning of the DPO Complex, police stations, IT Wing, law and order, cybercrime, traffic laws, women safety, child abuse, Khidmat Markaz, Tahaffuz Markaz, Meesaq Centre and Gujrat Safe City Authority, among other offices. Addressing the interns, SP Investigation Hafiz Imtiaz Ahmed said the programme aimed to promote public-oriented police services and strengthen community policing. He said efforts were being made to improve the public service delivery system and bridge the gap between police and citizens.
