Abbottabad: A 10-year-old boy was killed while three other people were injured in two separate road accidents in Abbottabad, Rescue 1122 said on Sunday.
The boy, identified as Usman, was killed in a road accident at Thanda Mera near the Havelian Mera Interchange on the motorway. According to Rescue 1122, he sustained critical injuries after being hit by a vehicle and succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Rescue personnel completed the necessary procedures and shifted the body to DHQ Hospital Abbottabad.
In another accident, three people were injured when a carry van met with an accident at Ghamawan on Thandiani Road, within the jurisdiction of Nawan Shehr Police Station.
The injured were identified as Ayesha, 35, Adnan, 13, and Shamir, 9. Rescue 1122 teams reached the site, provided first aid and shifted the injured to Ayub Medical Complex Abbottabad for further treatment.
