Multan Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Pakistan Railways( PR) Muhammad Hafeezullah Niazi on Thursday paid a surprise visit to Multan Railway Station and reviewed the facilities being provided to passengers.
During his visit, the CEO inspected the waiting rooms, platforms, station security system, online ticketing facilities, porters’ rooms, stalls and restaurants. He also reviewed the process of checking parcels of the Pakistan Post at the platform.
Niazi expressed satisfaction over cleanliness, administrative arrangements and passenger facilities at the station and appreciated the performance of the Multan Division and its officers. He directed the officials concerned to continue efforts for further improvement of passenger facilities and maintain high standards at the station.
Chief Personal Officer (CPO) Athar Riaz and other officers from Pakistan Railways headquarters were also present. Divisional Superintendent Multan Muhammad Khalid Khan, along with other divisional officers, briefed the CEO on various operational and administrative matters.
The CEO appreciated the satisfactory performance of the divisional team and encouraged the officers to maintain the same standard of service.
