Islamabad: Pakistan team fought bravely, gave it everything, and battled like tigers until the very end, despite the 5-3 result against India at the FIH Hockey World Cup, there were plenty of positives to take from this performance.
Considering India’s higher world ranking, years of strong sponsorship, an established independent hockey league, and greater international coaching and exposure, Team Pakistan’s performance was exceptionally encouraging.
