Islamabad: Pakistan’s exports of goods and services to the United States (US) increased by 1. 55 per cent during fiscal year 2025-26 compared to the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The country’s overall exports to the US stood at $6. 125 billion during July-June 2025-26, up from $6. 031 billion recorded during July-June 2024-25, the SBP data showed.
On a year-on-year basis, exports to the US rose by 12. 93 per cent to $539. 657 million in June 2026 from $477. 850 million in June 2025.
On a month-on-month basis, exports to the US also increased by 16. 69 per cent in June 2026 from $461. 250 million in May 2026, according to the SBP data.
Overall, Pakistan’s exports to the rest of the world declined by 4. 63 per cent during the fiscal year, falling from $32. 342 billion to $30. 843 billion, the data revealed.
Meanwhile, imports from the US into Pakistan increased by 38. 93 per cent during July-June 2025-26, reaching $3. 265 billion compared to $2. 350 billion in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
On a year-on-year basis, imports from the US rose by 39. 48 per cent to $275. 108 million in June 2026 from $197. 231 million in June 2025.
However, on a month-on-month basis, imports from the US declined by 38. 84 per cent in June 2026 from $449. 837 million recorded in May 2026, according to the data.
Overall, Pakistan’s imports increased by 8. 99 per cent during the fiscal year, rising from $59. 146 billion to $64. 465 billion.
