Muzaffargarh:A Special Judge Anti-Corruption, Dera Ghazi Khan Camp Muzaffargarh, sentenced a patwari to seven years’ rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs100,000 in a case involving preparation and alleged sale of a fake land mutation for Rs1.5 million. According to Anti-Corruption Muzaffargarh officials, the court convicted patwari Haq Nawaz after finding him guilty of preparing a fake mutation and allegedly selling it for Rs1.5 million. Following the court’s verdict, Haq Nawaz was taken into custody and shifted to District Jail Muzaffargarh, the officials said.
