Hyderabad: Police, in its continued drive against narcotics supply, claimed to have arrested a woman drug Supplier and recovered hashish from her possession.
A Police Spokesman informed here on Monday that, in compliance with the orders of DIG Hyderabad Range Tariq Razzak Khan Dharejo and SSP Hyderabad Shahzeb Chachar, a police team-led by Task Force Head Zain Raza Baloch and comprising SDPO SITE Sanobar Khoso, SHO SITE Sub-Inspector Shaukat Malukani, and others-conducted a successful operation in territorial jurisdiction of the SITE police station.
During the operation, the police arrested a woman drug supplier named Zarina and recovered 1050 grams of hashish from her possession.
According to the police, further information regarding the arrested woman and details of her past criminal record are being obtained.
The recovered hashish has been taken into police custody and a case has been registered against the arrested woman under the substance of Narcotics control act.
Further interrogation of the accused is underway.
