Police nab six culprits including Rs 20 mln bounty-headed Bandit


Sukkur: Shikarpur Police have achieved another major success in their ongoing crackdown against criminal elements, arrested six outlaws including a bandit carrying a bounty of Rs20 millions.



According to SSP Shikarpur Mohammad Kaleem, the operation was carried out under an effective strategy and comprehensive planning devised to curb serious crimes in the district.



The police team, led by ASP Mohammad Asif, conducted a successful operation near village Unar in coordination with Jamalpur Police Station In-charge Junaid Jiho and arrested six wanted dacoits.



Police identified the arrested culprits as Ali Khan Jiho, a bandit carrying a bounty of Rs20 million, along with Nizamuddin Jiho, Niaz Jiho, Mukhtiar Jiho, Ajeeb Jiho and Saddam Jiho.



Police said the arrested suspects were wanted in connection with several serious criminal cases, including robbery, snatching, attempted murder and encounters with police. They were also allegedly involved in a number of serious crimes committed in Shikarpur and surrounding areas.



Several cases of a serious nature have been registered against them at different police stations, while further legal proceedings are currently underway.



SSP Mohammad Kaleem said that the crackdown against criminal elements would be further intensified and that no one would be allowed to take the law into their own hands.



He praised the police team for carried out the successful operation and appreciated its efforts against wanted criminals.



The SSP reiterated that Shikarpur Police would continue operations against criminal elements under a zero-tolerance policy and would take all necessary measures to maintain law and order and protect the lives and property of citizens.
