MUZAFFARGARH:In a swift response to a robbery, local police have successfully recovered oil tankers valued at Rs 11.6 million.
The incident unfolded on a Saturday when three armed robbers intercepted an oil tanker carrying 10,000 liters of oil. They threatened the driver and fled with the tanker.
However, the quick-thinking driver managed to contact the tanker’s owner, who immediately reported the theft to the police.
The Qasba Gujjrat police sprang into action, chasing down the stolen tanker. The robbers eventually abandoned the tanker and fled the scene.
The police have registered a case and are actively pursuing the suspects.
