Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has approved five summaries and bills, according to the Presidency’s media wing on Tuesday.
The approved legislation includes the Export-Import Bank of Pakistan (Amendment) Bill, 2026, the Financial Institutions (Recovery of Finances) (Amendment) Bill, 2026, and the Federal Board of Revenue (Amendment) Bill, 2026, a news release said.
The president also approved conferring the Pakistan Civil Award on Syed Ali Mahmood.
He further approved ratification of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah Convention on Cooperation in the Enforcement of Anti-Corruption Laws among the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
