Muzaffargarh: The Punjab School Education Department has ordered 100 per cent physical inspection of all government schools across the province ahead of their scheduled Aug 24, 2026 reopening, after the summer vacation.
According to a notification issued by the school education department, all District Monitoring Officers (DMOs) have been directed to ensure that every government school is physically inspected before reopening.
The inspection teams will conduct a comprehensive assessment of cleanliness and sanitation arrangements, availability and condition of furniture, electrical equipment, clean drinking water, washrooms and playgrounds.
The DMOs have also been directed to thoroughly review security arrangements and ensure compliance with prescribed security SOPs, functioning of CCTV cameras and implementation of anti-dengue measures at schools.
The department has emphasized that all necessary arrangements should be completed before the schools reopen so that students and teachers are provided with a clean, safe and conducive learning environment.
