Bahawalpur: A fire erupted in a snooker club located in commercial area, Satellite Town of Bahawalpur city, damaging goods present in the club and another shop.
Official sources in the Punjab Emergency Service, Rescue 1122 said that a fire broke out at a snooker club and a storage facility located above a shoe shop, reportedly due to a short circuit. They further said that the blaze originated in the snooker club following an electrical short circuit and quickly spread, affecting both the snooker club and the adjoining storage area.
Rescue firefighters responded promptly and successfully brought the fire under control. Cooling operation was carried out to prevent the fire from reigniting. No casualties or injuries have been reported, however, goods placed in the club and shop were damaged.
