Lahore: The Punjab Walled Cities and Heritage Areas Authority (PWCA) and Lahore Biennale 04 (LB04)
signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to bring contemporary art into Lahore’s historic spaces. Under the collaboration, artists participating in LB04 will showcase their artworks at selected
heritage sites managed by the PWCA, creating a dialogue between Lahore’s architectural
heritage, history and contemporary art. Director General PWCA Najmussaqib said, ‘This collaboration will connect Lahore’s rich heritage with contemporary artistic expression, offering visitors a new and engaging way to experience our historic sites.’The initiative will transform heritage spaces into vibrant platforms for creativity and public engagement, further promoting Lahore’s cultural heritage.
