Qatar Charity distributes sewing machines, wheelchairs, flour mills in Sanghar

Hyderabad: Qatar Charity organized a welfare distribution ceremony in Sanghar on Friday to assist underprivileged families by providing sewing machines to deserving women, wheelchairs to persons with disabilities and domestic flour mills to needy households as part of its livelihood support program.



Addressing the ceremony, District Coordinator Sajjad Khan said the organisation, in collaboration with the district administration, was committed to empowering vulnerable communities through sustainable income-generating opportunities. He said the sewing machines would enable women to earn a livelihood from their homes, while the wheelchairs would improve mobility and independence for persons with disabilities.



He added that the distribution of domestic flour mills would help beneficiary families establish a sustainable source of income and improve their economic conditions.



On the occasion, the beneficiaries thanked the organization and the philanthropists supporting the initiative, saying the assistance would bring positive changes to their lives and help them achieve self-reliance.



Additional Director Social Welfare Shafqat Hussain Solangi, Rahila Khaskheli, Abdul Aziz, Rashid Ali and other social workers also attended the ceremony.
