Karachi: Senior academicians and energetic youth reaffirmed their commitment to play a constructive role in the progress, prosperity and solidarity of Pakistan on Thursday at a colorful event held as part of the commemorative events marking the 79th Independence Day and 150th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
The event, titled ‘Aik Quom, Aik Paigham, Aik Quaid’ (One nation, One message, One Leader) was organized by Quaid-e-Azam Academy in collaboration with Quaid-e-Azam Mazar Management Board (QMMB) and Anjuman-e-Asatiza Pakistan at Mazar-e-Quaid.
Vice Chancellor Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Dewan University Karachi, Dr Aurangzeb Khan, highlighted the struggle of independence and visionary leadership role of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in creation of Pakistan.
Quaid-e-Azam was among the most influential leaders, blessed with exceptional vision and unwavering determination, he said and urged the youth to study and uphold Quaid’s principles to contribute meaningfully to national development.
He also appreciated the active participation of female students, noting that the growing involvement of young women in educational activities is a positive sign for the country’s future.
He termed the youth as real builders of the nation, encouraging them to focus on emerging technologies and entrepreneurship in this modern era of artificial intelligence which brought unprecedented avenues of employment.
Educationist Arshad Malik said that Pakistan is a special blessing of Almighty Allah and we all must value its true worth and play our role in the progress of the country. He urged the youth to focus on their education and excel in their respective fields to contribute in the efforts for development, prosperity and stability of Pakistan.
Director Quaid-e-Azam Academy and Resident Engineer QMMB, Abdul Aleem Sheikh, addressing at the occasion paid glowing tribute to the Father of the Nation, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and remarked that Quaid’s leadership, resilience, and wisdom remain unparalleled, and his visionary role made the creation of Pakistan a historic achievement.
Reciting his golden words on national unity and solidarity, Abdul Aleem said that Quaid-e-Azam’s vision of the national unity of Muslims gathered followers of Islam belonging to diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds and geographical areas of the sub continent at a single platform, he remarked.
We as a united nation could achieve new milestone of progress, prosperity and integrity of the motherland by following the guiding principles of Quaid-e-Azam, he stated and urged the youth to learn from the lessons of history, and embrace yourselves with modern sciences and emerging technologies and play a productive role in nation building.
Student participants presented national songs, soulful tableaux, and inspiring speeches that reflected patriotism, national unity, and a deep sense of pride in the country. They also visited the interior of Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum, where they paid homage to the Father of the Nation and renewed their commitment to his vision and ideals, reinforcing their spirit of patriotism.
