Rawalpindi police nab hotel employee wanted in theft case


Rawalpindi: Police have arrested a proclaimed offender (POs) allegedly involved in a theft at a hotel and recovered a stolen motorcycle and cash amounting to Rs30,000 from his possession.



According to police, the suspect, who was employed at the hotel, committed the theft and fled after the incident. Following the case registration, Saddar Barooni Police used technical and human intelligence sources to trace and arrest the accused.



The recovered items were taken into police custody as part of the investigation.



SP Saddar Anum Sher said the arrested proclaimed offender would be presented before the court with solid evidence to ensure legal proceedings against him.



Rawalpindi Police reiterated their commitment to take strict action against criminal elements and ensuring the protection of citizens’ property.
