Sukkur: Regional Director Provincial Ombudsman Ahmed Ali Qureshi on Monday paid a surprise visit to the Basic Health Unit (BHU) Somar Goth and conducted a detailed review of the medical facilities being provided to patients, the sanitation conditions, staff attendance and the medicine record.
On the occasion, the Regional Director Provincial Ombudsman also met with patients visiting the Basic Health Unit and obtained information about the free medical treatment facilities being provided to them. He said that all necessary measures should be taken to ensure provision of basic health facilities to the poor and deserving public and that cleanliness, staff attendance and availability of medicines should be ensured at health centers.
On duty, Dr. Fareed Ahmed Daudpota briefed the Regional Director Provincial Ombudsman about the free medical facilities being provided to patients including OPD and other health services.
Later, Regional Director Provincial Ombudsman Ahmed Ali Qureshi also visited Basic Health Unit JaRegional Director Provincial Ombudsman Pays Surprise Visithan Khan and reviewed the medical facilities being provided to patients. On the occasion, Dr. Abdul Qadir Abro briefed him about the medical facilities and other services available for patients at the Basic Health Unit.
Regional Director Provincial Ombudsman Ahmed Ali Qureshi also visited Government Girls High School Arain, where he reviewed the educational facilities being provided to the female students and obtained information about the academic affairs of the school.
On the occasion, he said that effective measures should be taken to provide equal and better educational opportunities to female students of urban and rural areas, so that girls do not face any difficulties in obtaining quality education.
