Dera ismail khan: Rescue 1122 has deployed specialised diving teams at temporary water rescue points along the Indus River to ensure the safety of citizens visiting picnic and recreational spots on Independence Day.
The teams are conducting regular patrols at various picnic points and remain on standby to respond swiftly to any water-related emergency and launch rescue operations without delay. Rescue officials are also educating visitors about water safety, urging them to avoid entering deep water and follow necessary precautionary measures.
Rescue 1122 officials said the service would remain fully alert throughout the celebrations to ensure timely assistance and protect citizens in case of any emergency.
