Addressing the ceremony, DEO Dr Rizwan said Pakistan was a great blessing and a source of national pride, adding that officers and rescuers should continue serving the country and nation with honesty, hard work and a spirit of service.

Quoting Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s motto, ‘Work, work and only work,’ he said it should remain a guiding principle for rescuers in protecting the lives and property of citizens and contributing to a safer society.

At the end of ceremony, officers and rescuers reiterated their resolve to continue working for Pakistan’s development, prosperity, peace and stability.
