Dera ismail khan: Rescue 1122 Dera Ismail Khan on Wednesday observed Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir by holding solidarity activities across its emergency stations to express support for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to a Rescue 1122 spokesperson, the observance was held on the directives of the Director General Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Director Operations South Region, under the supervision of District Emergency Officer (DEO) Muhammad Arif Khan.
As part of the observance, Rescue 1122 personnel at various emergency stations participated in solidarity walks and special gatherings, where they paid tribute to the sacrifices, resilience and steadfastness of the people of IIOJK. The rescuers also reiterated their unwavering support and solidarity with the Kashmiri people.
Speaking on the occasion, District Emergency Officer Muhammad Arif Khan said Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir serves as a reminder of the hardships and sacrifices endured by the people of IIOJK.
He said Rescue 1122 stood in complete solidarity with the Kashmiri people and paid tribute to their courage, resilience and unwavering commitment to their just cause.
He said observing the day reflected the organisation’s commitment to promoting awareness of the humanitarian situation in IIOJK and expressing support for the Kashmiri people’s legitimate right to self-determination.
He added that the personnel of Rescue 1122 would continue to uphold the values of humanity, compassion and service while standing in solidarity with oppressed communities across the world.
