Malakand: Rescue 1122 on Thursday reaffirmed its commitment to improving emergency response services and addressing employees’ welfare concerns during an open forum convened to strengthen coordination and institutional performance.
The meeting, chaired by District Emergency Officer (DEO) Nasir Khan on the directives of Director General Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Fahad, brought together station house in-charges, station in-charges, the Motor Transport Officer and rescue personnel from across the district.
The participants discussed operational challenges, workplace issues and proposals for improving emergency services.
The DEO directed the relevant officials to ensure prompt redressal of staff concerns, maintain discipline and further enhance the quality and efficiency of emergency response.
Nasir Khan said the effectiveness of Rescue 1122 depended on the professionalism, dedication and commitment of its personnel, urging them to continue serving the public with integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.
He assured the participants that genuine issues affecting employees would be resolved on a priority basis.
He announced that similar consultative sessions would be held regularly to strengthen the institution and further improve public service delivery across the district.
