Lahore:Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR) Nabeel Javed has announced to cancel the weekend holidays of Saturday and Sunday for all employees of the Board of Revenue’s courts with an aim to ensure the digitization of records and court decisions within stipulated time.
He made the announcement during a meeting of senior officials to review the pace of work on records updation here at his office on Friday. Nabeel Javed expressed displeasure over the delayed uploading of revenue records and court decisions on the official website. He announced that in the next board meeting, the performance of all officers and board members will be thoroughly reviewed.
The SMBR further instructed that all files containing the decisions must be submitted to the record room within seven days, adding that all must be digitized within 15 days.
He emphasized that errors will not go unpunished and that the process of accountability will continue. A full board meeting has been scheduled for next Friday, with mandatory attendance
for all members and officers.
