RPO Dera reviews construction work at new Paharpur police station


Dera ismail khan: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Dera Ghulam Mubashir Maken visited the newly constructed Paharpur police station to review facilities and the construction work here on Monday.



According to a police spokesman, District Police Officer(DPO) Ziauddin Ahmed and SP Paharpur Iqbal Khan accompanied the RPO during the visit.



The officers inspected different sections of the police station, while the relevant officials briefed him on the construction progress, various departments and facilities being planned.



RPO Maken directed the concerned officials to ensure that the construction work was completed according to the prescribed standards and within the stipulated timeframe.



He stressed that the quality of construction materials and workmanship must be closely monitored and unnecessary delays avoided.



He said that modern police stations should provide police personnel with a better working environment while ensuring dignified, safe and convenient access to citizens.



He said police stations were not merely administrative offices but important institutions for addressing public complaints and providing protection and justice.



The RPO also directed officials to ensure adequate public facilities, including a waiting area, complaint registration arrangements and appropriate facilities for women and other visitors.



Ghulam Mubashir Maken said providing better working conditions for police personnel and quality services to citizens remained among the department’s key priorities.



He added that modern facilities would help improve police efficiency and strengthen public trust in the police.



At the end of the visit, the RPO instructed the concerned officers to closely monitor the project, maintain construction quality and ensure timely completion of all remaining work.
