Dera ismail khan: District Police Officer Ziauddin Ahmed inspected the route of the Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) procession and reviewed security arrangements, directing officers to ensure foolproof security throughout the event.
DSP City Circle Sagheer Shah Gilani accompanied the DPO during the inspection. They visited key points along the route, including Taj Masjid and Milad Park, and reviewed the arrangements at sensitive locations.
The DPO directed the officers concerned to ensure effective checking, establish checkpoints and deploy walk-through gates along the procession route. He also ordered continuous monitoring through CCTV cameras and the deployment of additional personnel at sensitive points.
Alternative routes have also been identified to ensure smooth traffic flow during the procession, he said.
The DPO warned that negligence in security arrangements would not be tolerated, saying, a rapid response plan had been prepared to deal with any untoward incident.
