Karachi: Senior photojournalist Syed Ikram Mehdi passed away here on Tuesday. He was 80. Mehdi, who served for six decades as a photojournalist across various newspapers, passed away following a heart attack.
His funeral prayer was offered at the Ancholi Imambargah later in the evening and was laid to rest at the Wadi-e-Hussain graveyard. The late Ikram Mehdi was associated with several Urdu and English dailies, including Mashriq, Jang, Qaumi, and The Business Recorder.
