Faisalabad: Seven people including a child suffered burns in a fire incident near here on Wednesday. According to Rescue-1122, the incident took place at a home in Maqsood Abad, an area of Nawabanwala, Samundri road where fire erupted due to gas leakage in an indoor unit of air-conditioner. Consequently, seven people in the room suffered burn injuries.
Two of them serious injured identified as Adnan (34) s/o Boota and Samra Zain (29) w/o Zain were rushed to the burn unit of the Allied Hospital. Five others including Hadi (3) s/o Zain, Areej (25) d/o Jameel. Chand (35) s/o Jameel and two others suffered minor burns and they were also rushed to hospital after providing first aid by the rescue team.
