Karachi: Sindh Minister for Industries and Commerce Jam Ikramullah Dharejo, Monday, visited the Sindh Industrial Trading Estate (SITE) Karachi and reviewed the progress of ongoing projects under the Public Sector Development Program.
The minister, accompanied by Secretary Industries and Commerce Shadia Jaffer and MD SITE Ahmed Fawad Shah, received a detailed briefing on various ongoing PSDP projects, their current progress, pace of work and stages of completion.
Jam Ikramullah Dharejo, on the occasion, directed the concerned authorities to ensure that all necessary steps are taken to complete the projects within the stipulated time while maintaining the quality of development works to provide basic facilities in industrial areas.
Improving infrastructure in industrial areas and providing better facilities to industries were among the priorities of the Sindh government, he said, adding that timely completion of ongoing development projects will further promote industrial activities in the province.
