SSP Traffic pays tribute to martyred constable on KP police Martyrs’ Day


Abbottabad: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Traffic Abbottabad, Muhammad Ishtiaq on Wednesday paid rich tribute to martyred Traffic Police Constable Khurram Shehzad by visiting his grave on the occasion of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Martyrs’ Day.



A smartly turned-out contingent of the Traffic Police presented a guard of honour to the fallen officer during the ceremony. SSP Traffic Muhammad Ishtiaq, DSP Traffic, the Traffic Inspector, and other police officers laid floral wreaths at the martyr’s grave, offered Fateha, and prayed for the elevation of his ranks, forgiveness, and patience and strength for his bereaved family.



Speaking on the occasion, SSP Traffic Muhammad Ishtiaq said the martyrs of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police were the pride of the nation and a valuable national asset whose sacrifices would always be remembered.



He said the unparalleled courage, dedication, and selfless service of the police martyrs continued to inspire the force and the nation, adding that ensuring respect, care, and support for the families of martyrs remained one of the police department’s foremost responsibilities.



Reaffirming the force’s commitment, the SSP said Traffic Police Abbottabad would continue to honour the sacrifices of its martyrs while performing its duties with honesty, dedication, and professionalism to protect the lives and property of the public and uphold the rule of law.
