Peshawar: A suspect wanted in connection with a Rs9 million robbery was killed during a police encounter in Peshawar, police said on Tuesday.
According to police, the encounter took place within the jurisdiction of Chamkani Police Station, where Salman alias Katokhay, a suspect wanted in the robbery case, was killed.
Police said the suspect had allegedly killed cattle trader Muhammad Anwar near the Fruit Market on August 15 and fled with Rs9 million.
