Abbottabad: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Hazara Region Nasir Mahmood Satti on Tuesday urged students to pursue their education with dedication, honesty and discipline, saying the country’s future rests in the hands of its youth.
He expressed these views while meeting a delegation of students from various departments of Hazara University participating in the Internship Programme 2026.
The DIG said the internship programme was aimed at familiarising students with the police system, its responsibilities and the spirit of public service, enabling them to become responsible and law-abiding citizens.
He also stressed the importance of respecting parents and teachers and maintaining strong moral values alongside academic excellence.
During the visit, PA to the RPO Hazara Tahir Mehboob and PSO to the RPO Hazara Shehzad Gul briefed the students on the professional performance of Hazara Police, operational challenges and the public services provided by the department.
The students thanked the DIG for the informative session and pledged to apply the knowledge and experience gained during the internship in their future careers.
