Bahawalpur: The Eleven Cricket Club, Liaquatabad, won the opening match of the Tariq Manzoor and Qaiser Abbas Memorial Floodlight Cricket Tournament, defeating Aamir Khan Cricket Club.
According to a press release issued here, a Floodlight Memorial Cricket Tournament was played in Head Rajkan, Tehsil Yazman. The Eleven Cricket Club delivered an impressive performance to secure victory in the tournament opener, while Daulat Khan was named Player of the Match for his outstanding contribution.
Addressing the participants, special guest, Mazhar Abbas said that promoting sports activities is a commendable initiative, particularly in today’s challenging times. He remarked that communities with active and well-maintained sports grounds tend to enjoy healthier lifestyles.
