Bajaur: A policeman was killed in a firing incident in the Inayat Kalay Bazar area of Bajaur district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Friday, according to police sources quoted by TV channel.
Initial reports said the policeman was returning home after completing his duty when unidentified assailants opened fire on him.
He sustained critical injuries and died at the scene. Following the incident, a police team reached the area and shifted the body to a nearby hospital.
Police have launched a search operation to trace and apprehend the attackers. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
