Sukkur: A comprehensive training session on the digitization of Record of Rights (RoR) was conducted for Assistant Commissioners, Mukhtiarkars and Supervising Tapedars of District Shikarpur, focusing on developing practical skills and ensuring uniformity in digitization of land records.

The session was chaired and observed by the Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur, Shakeel Ahmed Abro, while the main focus remained on the hands-on-learning and strengthening the capacity of taluka revenue officers.

Participants were guided through the key stages of RoR digitization, including record preparation, data entry, verification, accuracy checks and standardized procedures for handling re-written land records.

The training emphasized the importance of maintaining accurate, consistent and reliable data throughout the digitization process. It also aimed to equip the revenue staff with the practical knowledge required to efficiently manage digital records and minimize discrepancies.

Such training sessions are being conducted across the province, which will contribute to a more systematic, transparent and efficient land record management system, supporting the broader transition towards modern and digitally enabled land administration and revenue management services in Sindh.
