Bahawalpur: The police took two suspects into the custody in a torture incident reported in a restaurant here in the city.

According to a spokesperson on Wednesday, following the complaint submitted by the affected party regarding a torture incident, a case had been registered at Civil Lines Police Station. Both nominated suspects including one former constable Jam Hanzala, were arrested and were being interrogated.

Further investigation was underway.
