Sialkot: The Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Sialkot (USKT) organized an educational visit to the National Assembly of Pakistan in Islamabad, providing students with an opportunity to observe the country’s parliamentary system firsthand. According to USKT, during the visit, the students observed proceedings of the National Assembly and learned about legislative procedures, democratic institutions and constitutional governance.
The experience enabled them to connect their academic learning with practical knowledge of Pakistan’s parliamentary system. The visit also enhanced students’ understanding of parliamentary democracy and the functioning of key democratic institutions. It further encouraged civic awareness and motivated students to take a greater interest in political and public affairs. The educational visit was described as a valuable learning experience that complemented classroom studies and provided students with practical exposure to the country’s legislative process.
