Faisalabad: CM Punjab’s Quality Assurance Committee’s Chairman Major Shahzad visited the city and inspected various ongoing schemes under the Punjab Development Program being completed by WASA Faisalabad here on Thursday.
Deputy Managing Director Engineering Shoaib Zia gave him a detailed briefing on the progress of ongoing development schemes so far. Director Technical Hayat Randhawa was also with him.
The Chairman, Quality Assurance Committee visited the under-storage tank at crescent ground, rehabilitation of Millat Road, Riaz Shahid Chowk, Susan Road and underground storage tanks near Hockey Stadium.
He appreciated the timely completion of critical components and also appreciated the designs and outputs of the engineering team of WASA.
He directed the consultant agency to improve its affairs.
In this regard, the Deputy Managing Director Engineering clarified that WASA is utilizing all resources to complete the ongoing development schemes under the Punjab Development Program on time and with the completion of these development schemes, quality and best drainage services will be available to the citizens.
