Mirpurkhas:One woman and a minor boy died while several others were injured in an accident on Mirpurkhas Road, Umerkot on Friday.
According to the police, a Shezore vehicle of pilgrims was going to Rama Pir Mela which overturned due to overspeeding near the Sufi bus stop.
Rescue officials reached the spot immediately after the incident, and shifted the bodies and injured to Civil Hospital Mirpurkhas while one injured named Gulzar was referred to Hyderabad in serious condition.
According to the initial reports, the victims of the accident were residents of Javed Chang village near Umarkot.
The bodies were identified as a one-month-old baby boy Jeevan and a fifty-year-old woman Mrs Sain, whereas the injured were identified as Mrs. Gulan, Najesh, Daulat, Dalpat, Dildar, Loni. , Gulbhar, Ganesh and others included.
