PDMA team visits Shangla, directs DC for financial support of landslide incident’s victims

PESHAWAR:A team of Provincial Disaster Management (PDMA) Saturday visited Shangla and directed the district administration to provide relief packages to the victims of landslide incident where three children were killed in Alpuri area.

The team headed by Assistant Director Sardar Zeb visited Alpuri on the directions of DG PDMA, inspected the area and assured the victim’s family that a relief package would be given according to the policy.

He clarified that Rs 0.3 million relief package was given to the killed, Rs 0.1 million to injured and Rs 30,000 to Rs 0.1 million for the damage of a house.

He said the relief funds were being distributed under the Decentralization policy through district administration.
