Larkana: Saleem-ur-Rehman, former Advisor to the Governor of Punjab, former Advisor to the Federal Ministry of Human Rights, and Founder/Chief Organizer of the Mayo National Solidarity Council Pakistan, met with Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Larkana Nasir Aftab at the latter’s office in Larkana.

During the meeting, the former Advisor to the Governor of Punjab congratulated DIG Larkana on the successful operations carried out under “Operation Najaat Mahran” and presented him with flower garlands.

He also briefed DIG Larkana regarding the case of two brothers, Muzammal Rajput and Nadeem Ahmed Rajput, who were killed on May 21st within the jurisdiction of Pako police station in District Qambar-Shahdadkot.

Muzaffargarh: In line with the Punjab Government’s land record reforms, the revolutionary Green Property Certificate has been launched at the Land Record Center in Alipur, Muzaffargarh, marking a significant step towards a modern and transparent property ownership verification system.

A large number of citizens visited the Center to obtain the newly introduced certificate, reflecting strong public interest and enthusiasm for the initiative.

The Green Property Certificate was designed to enhance transparency in land records, ensure secure ownership documentation, and help curb fraudulent practices in property transactions.

To accommodate the increasing number of applicants, the Land Record Centre had established dedicated service counters, enabling citizens to obtain the certificate efficiently and without unnecessary delays.

Residents welcomed the initiative, describing it as a major milestone towards a digitized, reliable, and corruption-free land record management system that was expected to strengthen public confidence in property transactions across the province.

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry President Muhammad Saleem Memon expressing concern over the sealing of shops located on the properties of Sindh Police Welfare Foundation located in Chotki Ghitti has requested to find permanent solution to tenancy issues related to properties of Sindh Police Welfare Foundation.

In a statement on Wednesday. Saleem Memon said that the chamber fully abides court orders, rule of law and respect for state institutions, however, as a result of this action, hundreds of traders and their families are facing severe economic hardships.

He said that the HCSTSI has already written a letter to the Chief Minister Sindh on this issue, requesting for a permanent solution to the tenancy issues related to the properties of Sindh Police Welfare Foundation, transparent policy formulation and protection of the legitimate interests of the affected tenants.

He said that the Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry is in constant touch with the traders’ representatives of Chotki Gitti and Al-Raheem Shopping Center and is effectively raising the legitimate concerns of the affected traders with the relevant authorities, the Sindh government and other higher forums.

Memon said that the chamber will continue to provide all possible constitutional, legal and institutional support for a permanent, fair and sustainable solution to this issue.

He said that the Hyderabad Chamber had sent detailed letters to the Sindh Chief Minister last year and recently as well, apprised him of the possible consequences of this issue and requested for the formulation of a comprehensive policy for the properties of the Sindh Police Welfare Foundation, but due to the lack of timely policy, hundreds of traders and their families are facing severe difficulties.

He demanded that the Sindh government intervene immediately and take practical steps for a lasting solution to this issue so as to end the unrest in the business community and save the affected families from further hardship.
