Quetta: FC Balochistan (North) continued rescue and relief operations in District Naseerabad amid severe weather conditions.

As part of the ongoing relief efforts, FC Balochistan evacuated affected families to safer locations and ensured the timely delivery of assistance to flood-affected communities across the district.

During the operation, relief teams distributed food, clean drinking water, medical assistance, and other essential items are distributed among the affected people.

Rescue and relief activities are continuing uninterrupted through the coordinated efforts of FC Balochistan (North) and the district administration.

FC Balochistan (North) said it is taking all possible measures to protect the lives and property of residents in the flood-affected areas.

Quetta: Tribal leader Haji Naseer Lehri met deputy controller examination of Balochistan board Qazi Muhammad Anwar in his office here on Tuesday. During the meeting, various matters including matters of mutual interest were discussed in detail.

On this occasion, Haji Naseer Lehri thanked Qazi Muhammad Anwar for the excellent and excellent matriculation results of Government Girls High School Jhelum Karez and said that the excellent performance of the school girls is the result of the hard work of the teachers and the education department.

He said that he is grateful to Qazi Muhammad Anwar for his full cooperation with Government Girls High School Jhelum Karez. He also congratulated Deputy Controller Qazi Muhammad Anwar on the excellent results on behalf of the school girls, teachers and parents.

Haji Naseer Lehri expressed hope that cooperation would continue in the future for the educational improvement of Government Girls High School Jhelum Karez and for the encouragement of the students. Advocate Shamshad Ahmed was also present on the occasion.

Quetta: Provincial Minister Haji Ali Madad Jatak on Tuesday said that the Balochistan government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti was implementing development projects for providing basic facilities and public service missions across the province, while work is underway on development projects in other areas including Sariab keeping in mind the public needs.

He said this while holding open court at his residence Jatak House, Asifabad.

Pakistan Peoples Party central leader and provincial minister Haji Ali Madad Jatak listened to the problems of citizens coming from different areas in detail and issued necessary instructions to the concerned authorities on the spot for their immediate resolution.

A large number of citizens, local dignitaries, party workers and various delegations participated in the open court session.

Speaking on the occasion, Haji Ali Madad Jatak said that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) believed in public service and the axis of the party’s politics is the solution of the problems of the common man and the welfare of the people.

He said that it is our political and moral responsibility to listen to their problems while being among the people and taking practical steps to resolve them, which would not be neglected under any circumstances.

He also assured that all available resources would be utilized for the uniform development of every area of the constituency, improvement of basic infrastructure and provision of civic facilities.

While instructing the officers of the concerned departments, Haji Ali Madad Jatak said that unnecessary delay in resolving public issues would not be tolerated at all and all institutions should discharge their responsibilities with honesty, integrity and the spirit of public service.

He said that the aim of the open court is to reduce the distance between the people and the government and provide immediate relief to the people at their doorsteps.

The citizens who participated in the open court appreciated the practical steps taken by Haji Ali Madad Jatak to meet the people directly, listen to their problems and resolve them immediately, and termed this initiative as a people-friendly tradition.

The participants expressed hope that the continuation of this series would further improve the resolution of public problems and further strengthen the public’s trust in government institutions.

Quetta: Secretary Services and General Administration (SandGAD) Balochistan Agha Faisal on Tuesday chaired a high-level meeting to review the arrangements for the Independence Day celebrations on August 14.

The meeting unanimously reiterated the resolve that the Independence Day would be celebrated with full national enthusiasm and spirit throughout Balochistan. Officers of all relevant departments and administrative institutions attended this important meeting.

Addressing the meeting, Agha Faisal said that there are clear instructions from Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti that all arrangements should be completed in the best, organized and timely manner on the occasion of Independence Day, therefore, all departments would immediately finalize the matters coming under their jurisdiction.

He also directed all Deputy Commissioners and Assistant Commissioners to hold flag hoisting ceremonies at the district level at the scheduled time and ensure punctuality at all times, while foolproof security arrangements should be made during the ceremonies along with provision of food, clean drinking water and other essential facilities for the officials on duty.

Quetta: Balochistan Secretary Communications and Works, Babar Khan in a high-level meeting reviewed the Uplifting of Rakhni Town and Remodeling of Rakhni Bazaar Project. Deputy Commissioner Barkhan joined the meeting via Zoom, while Chief Engineer Loralai-Zhob Zone Qazi Noor-ul-Haq, SE Barkhan and Musakhel Abdul Razzaq Mandokhail, Executive Engineer Barkhan Engineer Fazal Kareem, relevant consultants, and other officials were also present.

Officials briefed the meeting on construction activities, challenges faced, and the future course of action. It was noted that work is progressing to ensure timely completion, with no compromise on quality standards.

Speaking on the occasion, Secretary Babar Khan highlighted that following the establishment of the Koh-e-Suleman Division, Rakhni has gained special importance as the divisional headquarters.

He stressed that improvement of basic facilities, roads, drainage, bazaars, and urban infrastructure is essential. He directed authorities to accelerate the pace of work while maintaining quality, adding that wherever opportunities exist, work should be expedited.

He emphasized teamwork to ensure the project is completed within the stipulated timeframe. The Secretary also instructed the Deputy Commissioner Barkhan to form a joint committee to thoroughly examine every aspect of the project and eliminate shortcomings.

Babar Khan reiterated that the provincial government’s top priority is to modernize Rakhni city with wide roads, effective street lighting, quality bypasses, and organized spaces for shops and vendors in the central bazaar.

He pledged that ongoing development projects in Rakhni will be completed on time to provide relief to the people, fulfilling the vision of prosperity and development in underprivileged areas.
