Islamabad: Huawei Digital Power hosted the Huawei Digital Power Pakistan Ecosystem Partner Summit and Innovative Product Launch 2026, bringing together customers, partners, and industry leaders to showcase the company’s latest innovations in smart energy, digital infrastructure, and electric mobility.

The summit reaffirmed Huawei’s commitment to supporting Pakistan’s digital transformation and sustainable energy transition through advanced Smart PV, Energy Storage Systems (ESS), Data Center Facility, and EV Charging solutions, said a news release.

Opening the event, Alex Xing, President of Huawei Digital Power Middle East and Central Asia, highlighted the importance of ecosystem collaboration in accelerating Pakistan’s energy and digital infrastructure development.

Johnson Jiang, Managing Director of Huawei Digital Power Pakistan, shared the company’s local market strategy, emphasizing Huawei’s commitment to building a resilient, intelligent, and sustainable energy ecosystem alongside its partners.

Islamabad: Dar-ul-Madina International University is set to organize the ‘Poster Presentation and Innovation Gala 2026’ on Tuesday, 28 July, at the university’s Seminar Hall, offering students multiple opportunities to demonstrate their skills.

The event aims to provide students with an effective platform to showcase their research activities, innovative projects, creative ideas, and poster presentations focused on practical solutions to real-world problems. It will also provide an opportunity for students to engage in academic dialogue and demonstrate their abilities through collaboration and knowledge-sharing.

Distinguished professors, researchers, and educationists from various universities across the country will participate as experts and examiners. They will evaluate the students’ poster presentations and provide professional feedback, constructive suggestions, and academic guidance.

Islamabad: Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has called for renewed national resolve to eliminate hepatitis, stressing that greater awareness, early diagnosis, and timely treatment are the cornerstones of protecting public health and achieving a hepatitis-free future.

In his message on World Hepatitis Day 2026, observed under the theme “Hepatitis: Let’s Break It Down, ” the Chairman Senate stressed the need to break down barriers to awareness, testing, and treatment.

He said that hepatitis remains a silent but preventable disease, and collective efforts by the government, healthcare professionals, civil society, and citizens are vital to achieving the global goal of eliminating viral hepatitis by 2030.

The Chairman Senate called upon all Pakistanis to adopt preventive measures, get tested, and encourage others to seek early medical care.

He reaffirmed the Senate’s commitment to supporting policies that strengthen public health and ensure equitable access to quality healthcare for every citizen.

Islamabad: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has launched an evening shift for consular services at its headquarters in the capital, extending service hours from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Announcing the initiative on his official X account, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Monday said the decision reflected the government’s commitment to making consular services more accessible, convenient and efficient.

“As part of our commitment to improving public service delivery, I am pleased to announce the launch of an Evening Shift for Consular Services at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ” DPM/FM Dar said, adding that citizens could now avail consular services from 8:00am to 8:00pm on all working days.

According to a public notice issued by the Ministry’s Consular Affairs Division, the evening shift at MoFA Headquarters came into effect on Monday, July 27, to facilitate applicants and further improve the delivery of consular services.

The notification stated that service tokens for the morning shift would be issued from 8:00am to 12:00pm, Monday to Thursday, and from 8:00am to 11:00am on Fridays. For the evening shift, tokens would be issued from 3:00pm to 5:30pm, Monday to Thursday, and from 3:00pm to 5:00pm on Fridays.

Islamabad: A 17-member delegation of students from Jinnah Law College, Jhelum, on Monday visited the Parliament House in Islamabad on a study tour, where they were received by officials of the Senate Secretariat.

The delegation visited the Senate Museum and the Senate Hall, where they were briefed on Pakistan’s parliamentary history, the role of the Senate, the legislative process, the functioning of standing committees, and the constitutional responsibilities of senators. The students were also shown a documentary film.

Later, the delegation visited the Constitution Gallery, where they were informed about the Senate’s constitutional role in ensuring equal representation of the federating units. The students asked various questions about the parliamentary system, which were answered comprehensively by the officials.

The students expressed hope that such study tours would play an important role in promoting democratic awareness, enhancing understanding of the parliamentary system, and fostering greater appreciation of national institutions among young people.

Islamabad: NUST Business School (NBS) has achieved a landmark milestone by securing accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), one of the world’s most prestigious and globally recognized accrediting bodies for business education.

With this distinction, NBS joins fewer than six percent of business schools worldwide that hold AACSB accreditation.
